Questions... and some Comments

Sat Feb 2, 2008, 7:28 PM
I have been an anime fan for quite some time, though I still don't know some things about it.
So, you don't mind if I ask some questions?

  • What is an otaku?
  • What is an omake?
  • What is a kiriban?
  • What does OAV/OVA stand for, what is it, and is there a difference?

  • I'll be really grateful if you can answer me :)

Well, my mom got me a new mouse, since the old one got "draggy" [and it's optical too]!! I tried it for CG and it works really great!

Yeah, so there, I'll make it clear that I don't have a tablet but I'm still looking forward to getting one........... someday

That's all for now~! :) have a happy February [Month of Hearts] :p

I only knw one thing.
OTAKU means someone who's almost 100% crazy for an anime. They collect almost everything about the anime they like. I think they earn money to buy some new stuffs about anime :P
I think being an otaku is ok, as long as ur not really addicted to it and waste most of your money just to buy some anime stuffs ...

Kiriban is a certain number of pageviews a person states. The person who takes a screenshot of it gets a free picture.
:iconterrabull:
Otaku-Someone who is obsessed with a specific thing.
Omake-The Japanese word for extra.
Kiriban- A rounded pageview number, if it is caught and screencapped (for proof) you draw the screencapper a prize.
OAV/OVA-Original video animation is an anime that is released directly to video or VHS (nowdays they're released to DVD and LD)

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, but they all live together in the same box.
