I finally got some kick back and I was able to come up with some (hopefully decent) deviations. So, I'm here to lament--and maybe rejoice--that my summer vacation is almost over. So, in this journal, I'm going to reminisce the great stuff I did this summer:
(June 1) I got a Darkrai for my Pokemon Pearl Game and also got Final Fantasy: Ring of Fates for DS
(June 6) I got my tablet, a Wacom Intuos3. No doubt about it, I was really happy and I had so much fun with it over the summer.
(June 23) My family went out for a shopping spree at the Woodbury outlet... and for the first time, I actually enjoyed the trip.
(June 24) We went to the General Conference in Maryland. The GC, by the way, is the world headquarters for the Seventh-Day Adventists... the equivalent of the Vatican for the Catholics, If I may. I had so much fun here too, although we were not able to go on a tour for the whole building because we were late. In spite of that, we were able to go on the White Estate tour which shed alot of information on the roots of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Oh! And I wouldn't forget to mention the great vegetarian food they had over there.
PLUS: It's the North America release date for Final Fantasy Tactics A2.
(July 4) We went to one of my mom's friend's house and celebrated the fourth of July over there, not that my sister and I had much fun.
(July 7?) I finally got FFTA2!
(July 18) My sister and I got our learner's permit for driving
(July 19) The "Life's Aid" Crusade began in Grand Concourse church. It was headed by Dr. Orrett Morgan and it lasted for a month (August 16). Unfortunately, we weren't able to go every night because of some issues. Despite the fact that we attended only a few meetings, I am confident enough to say that it was really, really great. Alot of facts about health were revealed to us--thus inspiring my family (specifically mom) to start our lifestyle anew :3.
(August 2?)I finished FFTA2. Now I can say something about it, which is: it's a great game and has gone a long way ever since FFTA. However, I DID NOT LIKE THE STORY~ it's too simple! (Maybe I'll rant about this one day
(August 15)I underwent surgery
(August 20) Was my mom's 50th birthday. We celebrated
Aside from the stuff mentioned above, I tried to step-up my musical skills (though I'd say it only went up a half step), changing our lifestyle (which didn't exactly work out-- but we tried!), and improve our spiritual life (the only thing that worked out... I think). Therefore, I just want to say that I had a wonderful summer and hopefully, next summer will be equally good or better!
The school bell rings...
'Til next time!
